Ratna Nidhi Charitable Trust
Ratna Nidhi Charitable Trust, is a registered charity that was established over 25 years ago by Mr Mahendra Mehta. It was set up in order to tackle the problems of poverty in Mumbai, especially amongst young children. From its humble origins as a family institution it has grown rapidly, and now its projects cover a wide range of activities located in both India and other developing countries, including Afghanistan, Sudan, Kenya and Burundi.
Ratna Nidhi Charitable Trust is committed to the welfare of people from the most underprivileged strata of society without distinction of caste, creed or color. Its emphasis is on assisting the children and youth who are the citizens of tomorrow and the disabled who need a support to help them join mainstream society.

10-24-2017Ratna Nidhi Charitable Trust donated 500 garments to the Jain Alert Group - Byculla, Mumbai which was then distributed to the villages of Amod and Sarbhan in Gujarat, India.In Pic.: Distribution of garments by members to the villagers.
09-11-2017Ratna Nidhi Charitable Trust donated 5525 garments to an organisation called Rayat Shikshan Sanstha headquartered in Satara district, Maharashtra, India.On 11th September 2017, Rayat Shikshan Sanstha organised a Garment Distribution Program at Ashramshala (School), Mokhada Taluka in Palgar district wherein the children of primary, secondary and higher secondary were given donated garments.The Chief Guest of this program was advocate Mr. Bhagirav Shinde, Vice Chairman of Rayat Shikshan Sanstha, Satara.
